Resumen
El presente reporte de caso aborda el riesgo de incendio en FADEPA, una empresa la cual se dedica a la fabricación de pinturas, donde la manipulación y almacenamiento de productos químicos inflamables representan un riesgo importante. La relevancia de este estudio radica en la necesidad de mejorar las condiciones de seguridad para proteger al personal como la infraestructura de la empresa, asegurando la continuidad operativa y cumplimiento de normas vigentes.
A través de un análisis se identificaron deficiencias en las áreas de almacenamiento y producción, identificando riesgos y falta de mantenimiento en los equipos y protocolos de emergencia.
A raíz de esto se planteó la importancia de contar con equipos de detección y extinción de incendios, junto con la capacitación del personal y la realización de simulacros, para mitigar el riesgo de incendio y la respuesta ante emergencias.
Para concluir, lo que se busca es generar una cultura de seguridad en la empresa y asegurar el cumplimiento de las normativas legales vigentes, creando un ambiente de trabajo seguro y de esta manera poder sostenerlo en el tiempo.
This case report addresses the risk of fire at FADEPA, a company dedicated to the manufacture of paints, where the handling and storage of flammable chemicals represent a significant risk. The relevance of this study lies in the need to improve security conditions to protect personnel and the company's infrastructure, ensuring operational continuity and compliance with current regulations. Through an analysis, deficiencies are identified in the areas of storage and production, identifying risks and lack of maintenance in equipment and emergency protocols. As a result of this, the importance of having fire detection and extinguishing equipment was raised, along with staff training and drills, to mitigate the risk of fire and emergency response. To conclude, what is sought is to generate a culture of safety in the company, and ensure compliance with current legal regulations, creating a safe work environment and in this way being able to sustain it over time.
