Resumen
El presente plan de intervención aborda la escasa presencia de hábitos de lectura sostenibles y significativos en estudiantes de último año de secundaria de la Unidad Educativa Maryland. Esta problemática compromete el bienestar integral de los alumnos y también repercute en el desempeño del resto de actividades curriculares. El objetivo principal del presente proyecto, es promover y consolidar el compromiso por la lectura, fortaleciendo la competencia en lectura y favoreciendo el bienestar emocional mediante el desarrollo de la autonomía lectora, el pensamiento crítico y la comprensión. Por ello, se ponen en marcha talleres semanales grupales, facilitados por profesionales psicólogos, a lo largo de ocho encuentros distribuidos en dos meses. Estos talleres incluyen el análisis crítico de textos relevantes, la exploración de distintos formatos de lectura digital, el desarrollo de habilidades para identificar la veracidad y fiabilidad de la información, y la promoción de la elección autónoma de lecturas, utilizando dispositivos tecnológicos como computadoras y celulares. Este enfoque psico educativo busca cultivar prácticas lectoras sostenidas que trasciendan el ámbito escolar, promuevan una implicación positiva con la lectura y contribuyan al desarrollo integral de los adolescentes.
Abstract The present intervention plan addresses the scarce presence of sustainable and meaningful reading habits in final-year secondary students at Unidad Educativa Maryland. This problematic compromises students' integral well-being and also impacts their performance in other curricular activities. The main objective of this project is to promote and consolidate engagement with reading, strengthening reading competence and fostering emotional well-being through the development of reading autonomy, critical thinking, and comprehension. To this end, weekly group workshops, facilitated by psychology professionals, are implemented over eight sessions distributed across two months. These workshops include the critical analysis of relevant texts, the exploration of different digital reading formats, the development of skills to identify the veracity and reliability of information, and the promotion of autonomous reading choices, utilizing technological devices such as computers and cell phones. This psycho educational approach seeks to cultivate sustained reading practices that transcend the school environment, promote positive involvement with reading, and contribute to the holistic development of adolescents.
