Abstract
El presente Trabajo Final de Grado se centra en el diseño de un producto práctico y seguro
destinado a personas transgénero, travestis y no binarias que realizan la práctica del tucking.
Desde un enfoque inclusivo, se desarrolló un producto ajustable que prioriza la comodidad, la
discreción y la seguridad. El proceso proyectual se fundamentó en estudios sobre género,
investigaciones de mercado, y en el análisis y selección de materiales adecuados que aseguran
transpirabilidad, flexibilidad y compresión. Se realizaron pruebas de uso, encuestas, entrevistas
y validaciones con usuarias reales, lo que permitió iterar y perfeccionar el prototipo. Este
trabajo propone una solución concreta a una necesidad desatendida, promoviendo el respeto por
la identidad y la autonomía corporal.
This Final Degree Project focuses on the design of a practical and safe product intended for transgender, travesti, and non-binary individuals who practice tucking. Through an inclusive approach, an adjustable product was developed that prioritizes comfort, discretion, and safety. The design process was grounded in gender studies, market research, and in the analysis and selection of suitable materials that ensure breathability, flexibility, and compression. User testing, surveys, interviews, and validations with real users enabled the iteration and refinement of the prototype. This project offers a concrete solution to an unmet need, promoting respect for identity and bodily autonomy.
