Resumen
El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo analizar la situación financiera de Banco Patagonia S.A. La entidad cuenta con más de 200 puntos de atención, y afronta una gran cantidad de préstamos y financiaciones. Se empleo el método vertical y horizontal para el estudio de los estados financieros y el cálculo de índices financieros del periodo 2021, 2022 y 2023. Se investigó el contexto interno y externo de la entidad a través de un análisis PESTEL y FODA. Posteriormente se propone desarrollar un sistema de scorecard especial para cada subsegmento de clientes, a fin de administrar de la mejor manera posible el riesgo de pérdidas por incumplimiento por parte de los mismos. Se concluye que, aplicando de manera eficiente la propuesta la entidad no pondría en riesgo su liquidez.
Abstract The objective of this work was to analyze the financial situation of Banco Patagonia S.A. The entity has more than 200 service points, and faces a large number of loans and financing. The vertical and horizontal method was used to study the financial statements and calculate financial ratios for the period 2021, 2022 and 2023. The internal and external context of the entity was investigated through a PESTEL and SWOT analysis. Subsequently, it is proposed to develop a special scorecard system for each customer subsegment, in order to manage in the best possible way the risk of losses due to non-compliance on their part. It is concluded that, by efficiently applying the proposal, the entity would not put its liquidity at risk.
