This study analyzes the factors that hinder the management and reuse of effluents in mixed farming establishments in Buchardo, Córdoba. Through surveys conducted with local producers, the research identifies technical, economic, and cultural barriers that prevent the adoption of sustainable practices. A lack of infrastructure, high implementation costs, and limited access to training are key issues. Although many producers are aware of the environmental impact of poor effluent management, there is still widespread inadequate use of manure and limited application of technologies such as fertigation and biodigesters. The study concludes that there is a favorable willingness to change if adequate technical and financial support is provided. While environmental regulations exist in the province, compliance remains limited due to a gap between legal requirements and the actual capacity of small and medium-scale producers. The paper proposes a comprehensive approach combining financial incentives, technical assistance, and awareness campaigns to foster a more responsible and sustainable agricultural production system, aligned with environmental protection and efficient resource use.
