Resumen
El presente manuscrito científico buscó evaluar si las Ofertas Iniciales de Moneda (ICO) representan una alternativa viable de financiación para las pequeñas y medianas empresas en Argentina. Para ello, se analizó cómo estas pueden facilitar recursos monetarios con la tecnología blockchain, considerando la normativa vigente y los entes regulatorios implicados. Durante el análisis, se identificó incertidumbre en la reglamentación actual, lo cual representa un problema para la pequeña empresa interesada. La investigación se centró en un enfoque descriptivo, donde se pretendió comprender tanto la utilidad y practicidad de las ICO, como las limitaciones y obstáculos asociados. Los resultados obtenidos mostraron que las ventajas en la eficiencia para recaudar fondos a través de las ofertas iniciales de moneda son ampliamente notables, destacándose por la rapidez para acceder al capital monetario. Sin embargo, se concluyó resaltando la gran importancia de garantizar seguridad a los usuarios, junto con la protección de los datos y la relación costo beneficio en la toma de decisiones financieras.

Abstract
This scientific manuscript sought to evaluate whether Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) represent a viable financing alternative for small and medium-sized enterprises in Argentina. For this purpose, it was analyzed how these can provide monetary resources with blockchain technology, considering the current regulations and the regulatory entities involved. During the analysis, uncertainty in the current regulation was identified, which represents a problem for the interested small business. The research focused on a descriptive approach, where the aim was to understand both the usefulness and practicality of ICOs, as well as the associated limitations and obstacles. The results obtained showed that the advantages in the efficiency of raising funds through initial coin offerings are widely remarkable, standing out for the speed of access to monetary capital. However, it was concluded by highlighting the great importance of guaranteeing security to users, together with data protection and the cost-benefit ratio in financial decision making.
