Resumen
El presente informe de caso tiene como finalidad elaborar una planificación estratégica para la empresa Naranja S.A., con el objetivo de aumentar su rentabilidad mediante una estrategia de crecimiento basada en la diversificación relacionada y así generando la diferenciación de sus productos. Para empezar, se realizó un análisis situacional de la empresa, identificando algunos puntos débiles tanto en el contexto en el que opera como en la alta competencia y disponibilidad de productos sustitutos en el mercado.
Posteriormente, se llevó a cabo un análisis interno de la empresa, donde se identificaron las fortalezas que permitirán implementar un plan de mejora alineado con los objetivos planteados, así como algunas áreas de oportunidad que pueden ser abordadas a través del plan desarrollado.
A partir de este análisis, se propuso una ampliación de funcionalidades de la aplicación integrada existente llamada “Naranja X”, que fortalecerá ciertos aspectos identificados en la cadena de valor, permitiendo que Naranja S.A. se consolide como una empresa más competitiva en su sector, respaldada por la lealtad de sus clientes y la innovación de su nuevo producto.
La consecución de los objetivos específicos de capacitación, implementación del proyecto y aumento de la cartera de clientes será crucial para alcanzar el objetivo general de Naranja S.A. Este proyecto, según los indicadores de rentabilidad del flujo de caja, es viable, lo que sugiere que Naranja S.A. está en condiciones de implementarlo.
This case report aims to develop a strategic plan for the company Naranja S.A., with the objective of increasing its profitability through a growth strategy based on related diversification, thus generating product differentiation. To begin with, a situational analysis of the company was carried out, identifying some weaknesses both in the context in which it operates and in the high competition and availability of substitute products in the market. Subsequently, an internal analysis of the company was conducted, where strengths were identified that will enable the implementation of an improvement plan aligned with the stated objectives, as well as some areas of opportunity that can be addressed through the developed plan. Based on this analysis, an expansion of the functionalities of the existing integrated application called “Naranja X” was proposed, which will strengthen certain aspects identified in the value chain, allowing Naranja S.A. to consolidate itself as a more competitive company in its sector, supported by customer loyalty and the innovation of its new product. Achieving the specific objectives of training, project implementation, and increasing the customer base will be crucial to reaching the general objective of Naranja S.A. This project, according to the cash flow profitability indicators, is viable, suggesting that Naranja S.A. is able to implement it.
