At present, trying to improve business profitability is one of the most important challenges that most companies must face. Omint S.A. of services (hereinafter Omint) is no exception. Over the years of his career, he developed a business model, which is the one that prevails in the prepaid medicine industry, as an intermediary between medical service providers and clients, and over time, incorporating his own clinics to direct attention. Measured over a time scale, this form of business model has been showing a slight but steady decline in profitability. At the same time, it is always at the forefront in trying to improve and incorporate processes, both to maintain the level of quality of services, which its mission proclaims, as well as to make the business profitable. However, these actions are sometimes not enough to achieve the objectives, mainly in the focus on profitability. The dynamics in which businesses move, and more so in this era where innovations and technological changes occur in such an abrupt and disruptive way, imply working with constant flexibility and adaptation, simply to survive. The company has, among its most important strengths, the consideration of human capital. It constantly provides training tools for staff development and growth. Along with this, the continuous work in multidisciplinary teams within the organization produces an increase in knowledge and the ways in which business management can be improved. Due to the aforementioned, Omint is willing for these working groups to think of different alternatives to achieve the objective of improving profitability, even taking into account that it may lead to a significant change in the organization's strategies in the medium and long term, modifying partially or totally the current business model. This intervention project aims to serve as a reference guide for the future, for any type of company, with the aim of showing that changes can generate new opportunities in regulated and highly competitive markets.
