This study analyzed the presence of criminological indicators in adolescents attending school in the city of Santiago del Estero, aiming to understand the school dynamics that may influence delinquent risk trajectories. A qualitative, exploratory-descriptive approach was adopted, and semi-structured interviews were conducted with five teachers. The results revealed multiple risk factors within the school environment, such as disruptive behaviors, emotional dysregulation, substance use, cyberbullying, and deteriorated interpersonal relationships. Teachers reported lacking specific training and feeling overwhelmed due to insufficient institutional support. The school was identified as a key space for containment, although with limited resources for effective intervention. The analysis was enriched by contributions from educational criminology and criminal behavior analysis, proposing their preventive integration into the school context. The main limitations were the small sample size and the scarcity of criminology professionals in the province. Nonetheless, the study provided valuable empirical evidence and highlighted an underexplored issue. It concluded that it is essential to strengthen teacher training, promote interdisciplinary teams, and design preventive policies that link education and criminology.
