Based on the documentary and bibliographic analysis of reliable sources, this study conducted qualitative, descriptive, and non-experimental research to analyze the influence of social media on the criminal behavior of adolescents. The most frequent risk factors were investigated, such as anonymity, lack of boundaries, exposure to violent content, and the absence of adult supervision. The role of the family, school, and digital education in the prevention of these behaviors was also addressed. The results showed that, without guidance or emotional tools, adolescents are more vulnerable to engaging in dangerous challenges, experiencing bullying, or normalizing aggressive behaviors. From a criminological perspective, it was concluded that these behaviors should not be interpreted in isolation but as part of a broader social environment. It is recommended to strengthen family bonds, provide spaces for dialogue, and promote digital education as a preventive strategy.
