Conveniencia de que una pyme argentina se financie con criptoactivos

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se analizó la conveniencia de que una pyme de argentina se financie mediante oferta inicial de criptoactivos. Para ello se determinó el procedimiento a seguir para que una pyme pueda emitir una ICO, estimando los tiempos y costos necesarios para llevarla a cabo; se comparó este costo con el costo de financiamiento mediante operación de descuento de cheques y se analizó la conveniencia de que la pyme emita una ICO. De este análisis se concluyó que, si bien es viable y conveniente para una pyme este tipo de financiamiento, el mismo no resulta seguro debido a la falta de regulación precisa y clara lo cual podría ocasionar problemas legales para la empresa. Debido a esto, no se recomienda su uso como fuente de financiamiento para pymes argentinas.Abstract In this work, the convenience of an SME in Argentina being financed through an initial coin offering was analyzed. To this end, the procedure to be followed for an SME to issue an ICO was determined, estimating the times and costs necessary to carry it out; This cost was compared with the cost of financing through check discounting operations and the convenience of the SME issuing an ICO was analyzed. From this analysis it was concluded that, although this type of financing is viable and convenient for an SME, it is not safe due to the lack of precise and clear regulation, which could cause legal problems for the company. Due to this, its use as a source of financing for Argentine SMEs is not recommended.
