Resumen
El presente reporte de caso analiza la situación estratégica de Grupo Meta, con foco en su unidad de negocio La Tregua S.A., ubicada en la provincia de Córdoba. En esta unidad, dedicada a la producción agropecuaria integrada, se evidenció un proceso de estancamiento productivo, por lo cual se elabora una planificación estratégica orientada a su reactivación y modernización. A partir de un análisis del entorno, tanto interno como externo, realizado a través de herramientas como el análisis Pestel, las cinco fuerzas de Porter, el Foda y la cadena de valor, se definieron dos líneas estratégicas fundamentales: de crecimiento intensivo y competitiva de diferenciación. El trabajo incluyó el diseño de objetivos, planes de acción, cronogramas de implementación, presupuestos estimativos y una evaluación financiera que permitió respaldar las acciones propuestas. El desarrollo de la misma apunta a mejorar la eficiencia operativa de La Tregua S.A., fortalecer su competitividad en el mercado agroindustrial e integrarla de forma más sólida dentro del modelo general del Grupo.
This case report analyzes the strategic situation of Grupo Meta, with a focus on its business unit La Tregua S.A., located in the province of Córdoba. In this unit, dedicated to integrated agricultural production, a process of productive stagnation was identified, which led to the development of a strategic plan aimed at its reactivation and modernization. Based on an analysis of both the internal and external environments, conducted using tools such as the PESTEL analysis, Porter’s Five Forces, the SWOT matrix, and the value chain, two fundamental strategic lines were defined: intensive growth and competitive differentiation. The project included the design of objectives, action plans, implementation schedules, estimated budgets, and a financial evaluation that supported the proposed actions. The development of this strategy aims to improve the operational efficiency of La Tregua S.A., strengthen its competitiveness in the agribusiness market, and integrate it more solidly within the overall model of the Group.
