Análisis Criminal: la adicción y su impacto en el comportamiento criminal

Abstract

En la actualidad, estudios teóricos con datos empíricos y bajo marcos legales que están en vigencia permiten la especulación sobre la correlación que existe entre las personas con alguna clase de adicción y consumo de diferentes sustancias psicoactivas y el resultado sobre su comportamiento en actos criminales. Los resultados arribados a través de la revisión bibliográfica de esta investigación concluyen que existen vínculos entre consumo y el delito, consumo y exclusión social. Por ello, poder identificar estas conductas y sus patrones es muy significativo al momento de recapacitar sobre las políticas públicas integrales que ayudan a que este fenómeno merme siempre y cuando se tenga una mirada con profusa atención a la prevención, a la asistencia y a la seguridad de los individuos que se encuentran en ese contexto.Currently, theoretical studies supported by empirical data and within the framework of current legislation allow for speculation regarding the correlation between individuals with some form of addiction and the use of various psychoactive substances, and the resulting behaviour in criminal acts. The findings reached through the bibliographic review of this research conclude that there are links between substance use and crime, as well as between substance use and social exclusion. Therefore, the ability to identify these behaviours and their patterns is highly significant when reflecting on comprehensive public policies that help reduce this phenomenon, provided that there is a strong focus on prevention, support, and the safety of individuals within this context.
