“El rol del gobierno de la provincia de Córdoba en la prevención del grooming”

Abstract

La digitalización y la tecnología ofrecen amplias oportunidades de crecimiento y desarrollo, especialmente entre los infantes y adolescentes. Sin embargo, también presentan riesgos significativos debido al anonimato que proporcionan, lo que puede facilitar ciberdelitos como el grooming. Este fenómeno implica la captación de menores a través de plataformas virtuales que explotan la relación y el control emocional para obtener contenido sexual. Sobre todo, en Argentina, la investigación sobre el grooming es un tema de gran interés y preocupación debido al aumento de víctimas en la última década y las graves consecuencias que puede tener en la salud mental y el bienestar psicológicos de las víctimas. Según estudios, el grooming puede tener efectos devastadores en la autoestima y el desarrollo emocional de los menores. Por lo tanto, esta investigación buscó analizar la información disponible sobre el grooming, sus efectos en niños, niñas y adolescentes y cómo actúa el Gobierno ante este. El objetivo principal fue investigar sobre las condiciones sociodemográficas, familiares y emocionales que contribuyen a la victimización por grooming entre la población infantil y adolescente en Córdoba. Además, se realizó en la misma investigaciones cualitativas sobre la conceptualización del grooming, factores de riesgo y consecuencias tras experiencias de grooming. Entre los resultados obtenidos, se destacan la importancia de la educación digital y la conciencia sobre los riesgos asociados al uso de internet y las redes sociales. Finalmente, se resalta la necesidad de la colaboración interinstitucional efectiva entre padres, educadores y autoridades para prevenir y combatir el grooming.

Digitalization and technology offer ample opportunities for growth and development, especially among infants and adolescents. However, they also pose significant risks due to the anonymity they provide, which can facilitate cybercrimes such as grooming. This phenomenon involves the recruitment of minors through virtual platforms that exploit the relationship and emotional control to obtain sexual content. Above all, in Argentina, research on grooming is a topic of great interest and concern due to the increase in victims in the last decade and the serious consequences it can have on the mental health and psychological well-being of victims. According to studies, grooming can have devastating effects on the self-esteem and emotional development of children. Therefore, this research sought to analyze the available information on grooming, its effects on children and adolescents, and how the government acts in response to it. The main objective was to investigate the sociodemographic, family, and emotional conditions that contribute to grooming victimization among the child and adolescent population in Córdoba. In addition, qualitative research was carried out on the conceptualization of grooming, risk factors, and consequences after grooming experiences. Among the results obtained, the importance of digital education and awareness of the risks associated with the use of the internet and social networks stand out. Finally, the need for effective inter-institutional collaboration between parents, educators, and authorities to prevent and combat grooming is highlighted.
